Leadership isn't just about being in charge. It's knowing who you are, understanding what you bring, speaking up when it matters, working with different people, making decisions, and using your influence responsibly.

You don't need a title to lead.

Three levels. One evolution.

Know yourself. Lead others. Own your impact. Each level builds on the last, and students start at the level for their grade.

Signature experience

REAL TALK: What would you actually do?

Students face realistic situations involving friendships, school, work, teams, family, social media, boundaries, conflict, ethics, and leadership. There isn't always one right answer, so they have to decide:

  • What would I do?
  • Why?
  • What are the consequences?
  • How would I communicate it?
  • Would I make the same decision if the situation changed?

In grade 8

Peer pressure, or speaking up for the first time.

By grade 12

Workplace conflict, negotiating an opportunity, advocating for an accommodation, addressing unethical behavior, or handling a difficult professional relationship.

Find your leadership style

Leadership doesn't require being the loudest, the most popular, or the person in charge. In My Era helps students find how they naturally lead, and how to adapt when a situation needs something different.

  • Leadership challenges
  • Team simulations
  • Communication activities
  • Peer feedback
  • Role-playing
  • Decision-making scenarios
  • Community projects
  • Presentations
  • Mentoring
  • Reflection
